The Covid-19 lockdown has not deterred the Camping and Caravanning Club from running its annual National Camping and Caravanning Week (NCCW)
The Covid-19 lockdown has not deterred the Camping and Caravanning Club from running its annual National Camping and Caravanning Week (NCCW) from Monday, 25 May to Sunday, 31 May, although this year it has been called ‘The Stay Home NCCW’. The primary theme of the virtual event is ‘discovering (and rediscovering) camping’ and, with camping and touring holidays likely to be more popular than ever post-lockdown, the Club promises to dispense plenty of advice and activities for newcomers and those rediscovering the pleasures of camping and touring.
Julia Bradbury will head up the week-long event with The Friendly Club Camp-out on the Bank Holiday Monday (May 25), with people camping out at home. Each day throughout the week it will share information, competitions and activities via its social media channels.
